To process sales inquiries and orders to satisfy or exceed our financial expectations and deliver world class customer service to the Europe Sales teams.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Ensure that all requests for quotation are logged accurately on to the Customer Relationship Management System and provide feedback on quotes as required.
• Respond to sales inquiries and ensure proposals demonstrate Emerson’s full product and capabilities portfolio, maximizing all bookings opportunities and quote to order ratio.
• Prepare and issue proposals that meet the customers’ application and operational needs, are technically accurate and commercially verified and offer the best solutions that highlight customer business benefits.
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers where appropriate to secure orders on the most favorable basis
• Review customer purchase order against quotation and associated clarifications.
• Process orders into Oracle system ensuring all relevant information is included where necessary. to communicate the order requirements to our suppliers and colleagues in other parts of the business.
• Any other sales function duties as directed by superior to secure new customer orders to the business.
Who You Are:
• You provide liaison between sales offices-factory-customers, work together with country sales organization to reach high level of customer service.
For This Role, You Will Need:
• Qualification in an engineering discipline or clear demonstration of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English knowledge is a must.
• Confident and proficient in use of Microsoft Office,
• Knowledge of control valves.
• We require customer focus behavior and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions.
• You gain insight into customer need.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• Experience of selling within a multi-product line engineering business.
• Additional knowledge of Oracle would be a particular benefit.
