You will prepare, update and provide technical documentation and submittals for approval and construction from building engineers, customers, contractors and internal team members. You will manage revision and correction of work instructions to be used by field installation teams. You will update the as built documents to be used by field technicians for maintenance and service. You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to project delivery and field service. You will collaborate with central engineering teams to gather information, use tools and update the central archives for each project delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate customer request. Review inputs, ensure scope clarity, and map customer expectations in actual deliverables.
• Collaborate with customer and field technicians
• Converse and communicate with the customers’ representatives for project initiations, RFIs & project close-out.
• Ensure quality & specification compliance of deliverables for projects.
• Act as technical interface to customers to ensure that projects are executed within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer requirements.
• Identify possible improvement opportunities in processes and standards.
• Build rapport with other cross-function teams ensuring smooth execution of projects.

Understand, prepare and/or propose

• Sequence of Operations
• Control wiring diagrams
• DDC Applications for HVAC equipment (AHU, VAV, FCU, Chilled Water Systems, Hot Water Systems etc.)
• Control System SCADA/Graphics
• Control System Field Commissioning and deployment
• Control System functional performance testing
• Fire Alarm Risers, battery calculations
• Design Access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, PAVA,
• Field devices selection for building automation, safety & security systems

The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Key skills and qualifications:

• High School Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/ Mechanical/ Refrigeration or equivalent education and experience.
• 3-4 years of experience working with controls systems, fire alarm systems and security systems with knowledge of operating and maintaining or commissioning and installation of such systems
• Strong communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete application engineering documentation and build strong customer relationships
• Ability to understand and prioritize customer needs, building strong, trusting relationships that enhance customer satisfaction.
• A proactive approach to identifying issues and challenges, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in developing solutions.
• Ability to navigate discussions with customers and internal teams to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

We value:

• ASHRAE, NICET or ASIS certification or equivalent industry certification
• Proficiency on Tools: AutoCAD (Basic), Microsoft Visio will be an added advantage.
• Experience in protocols such as BACnet, LON and Modbus etc.
• A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments, building codes and compliances
