Job Description
Wood is recruiting for Senior Instrumentation & Electrical Planners to join the Wood team at the Ampol Refinery based in Lytton, Brisbane – on a permanent basis.
You will support the Lead Planner with the ongoing development and implementation of various planning and quality processes, whilst assuming responsibility for scoping, estimating, planning & scheduling all Electrical & Instrumentation work in a designated process area of the Ampol Oil Refinery.

Responsibilities
Review CMMS daily for approved notifications, creating work ordersConduct site inspections to provide a detailed scope of workPopulate the work order & workpack with the tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendor requirements, PMRs and other services required to execute the workMaintain integrity of the CMMSPlan and schedule preventative workorders, ensure statutory testing and compliance is maintainedReserve all stock materials, identify part numbers and all information required for the purchase of non-stock itemsAttend/Chair the Weekly Planning & Scheduling meetingsTake feedback on the work at the completion of the job and continually improve information for future work – Create job specific tasklists, update critical BOM’sParticipate in the development & control of the R&M Area BudgetsDemonstrate a pro-active role in identifying safety improvementsProvide pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practices
Qualifications
CMMS knowledge and demonstrated experience (SAP)Applicable trade qualification or degree/diploma in Engineering. 5+ Years’ experience within a similar industry or related industry workplace.Knowledge of relevant discipline and Industry procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and best practices.Demonstrated experience within a similar industry or related industry workplace.Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.To be considered, applicants must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for the role.Wood encourages Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.If you’re an experienced E&I Planner, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today!
