TheDirector Global Additive Manufacturingrole located inMarshalltown, IAwill lead Flow Controls’ global additive manufacturing program across all technologies and functions to mainstream and grow the additive program. This role reports to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Additive Technologies.
The Flow Controls Additive Program is a Business Unit Led Program that supports the advancement of additive for all of Emerson; this role will support outreach and development activity to support the broader Emerson organization.Sponsorship and relocation assistance available for selected international candidate.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
• Development and maturation of program, strategy, and organization
• Business and financial management across relevant functions, including R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Internal Marketing & Sales, and Administration
• Key deliverables will include Technology Development, New Product Introduction, Quality, Productivity & Efficiency Improvement, Cost Optimization, Overall Program Growth, and associated Business Planning Functions
• Technologies: Laser-Powder Bed Fusion, Hybrid-Directed Energy Deposition, and Sand Mold Binder Jetting (and any future technology investments)
• Organizations: Global Additive Technology Center (Iowa), Global Additive Manufacturing Center (Singapore), Front End Operations Group, and any future production operations (within a matrix organization).

You create and implement plans that allocate resources precisely. You use knowledge of the organizational culture to achieve objectives. You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Related (MBA a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in additive technology and technology development (Laser Powder Bed Fusion preferred) and/or management of additive operations
• Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, and modeling
• Familiarity with operations planning, SIOP, digitalization, and related
• Dynamic leadership and flexible learning capabilities
• Self-motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of working with teams with competing interests
