Head of DA Sales, UK

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will be responsible for OEM’s, Panel Builders, Consultants, End Users and EPC’s, focused on the sales and technical support of Digital Products and Digital Solutions. You will represent ABB’s Distribution Solutions Digital portfolio including Relays, Automation Systems and solutions by providing customer product support, training and internal/external sales support. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification, Distribution Solutions UK Division. Main stakeholders are customers, Product Market Managers, Factory representatives, Other Sales and Account Management Interfaces and other ABB divisions. You will be mainly accountable for: •Provide onsite and remote support to customers for technical queries and issue resolution. •Responsible for contributing to the sales budget of the Digital Products and Solutions business lines. •Provide training on the digital products and solutions and portfolio internally and externally. •Gaining Enquiries to key opportunities through engaging OEM’s, End Users, EPC’s and Consultants. •Factory and Digital Excellence Center Liaison for commercial and technical support. •Develop innovative solutions to meet customers challenges and market requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Strong experience in Digital products and solution and Technical Sales Support with Distribution Automation and Apparatus.
• Sound knowledge of IEC61850 Protocols, SCADA, ABB Product Portfolio and the Digital market.
• A minimum of HNC or equivalent in Electrical Installations and Engineering.
• Current FULL UK Driving license.
• Good understanding of power system protection for electrical networks.
• Able to program and upload relay settings to customer protection devices.
• Able to understand & create programmable scheme logic for P&C configurations
• Great communication, organisation, teamwork skills.
