Job Description

*** Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph ***Performs a variety of industrial electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves: installing or repairing any of a variety of industrial electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, chiller units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment, while maintaining repair and maintenance records. Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, in accordance with the NEC. Locating and diagnosing problems in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. Position will work with voltages up to 13.2kV to include maintenance/troubleshooting of switchgear and breakers. Perform switching medium voltage gear (5kV), in accordance with a switching plan. Perform installation of new systems (typically low voltage <600V). Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working conditions.Supervision Exercised: As directed by management, may supervise employees, Apprentice Electricians, or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum, NEC standards, and report to Lead Maintenance Electrician.Salary Rate: $38.00 to $48.00/hour + $4.98/hour FringePositions covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act or Davis-Bacon Act will comply with the statute requirements.#Intel

Basic Job Requirements

A combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Must be an experienced Journeyman Electrician with valid state issued electrical license and relevant industry experience.
• Requires; the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
• To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
• Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary, to include, but not limited to the ability to stand, kneel, or crouch for long periods of time to perform assigned job functions.
• Position requires problem solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills.

Salary Range

53,000 to 99,000

Market Rate

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
