Wood is recruiting for a Commissioning Project Administrator to join its Commissioning team to support with the overall delivery of strategic multi-disciplinary projects. This role will be based out of Sir Ian Wood House in Aberdeen and has the ability to be worked on a hybrid basis.

The Role
The Commissioning Projects Administrator will support the Commissioning Lead / Manager in the day-to-day co-ordination and delivery of projects, in accordance with the Wood Quality Management System (QMS), through the project management lifecycle which will include: project initiation and planning; project execution and delivery; and project close-out. The Commissioning Projects Administrator will also support in development and delivery of project documentation and in reviewing and collating project related information.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities

Support the Commissioning Lead / Manager in the day-to-day planning, administration, co-ordination and execution of project delivery related activities in compliance with Wood Quality Management Systems
Provide direct interface with the Commissioning Lead / Manager and communicate status and delivery of assigned activities, identifying any issues for escalation by the Commissioning Lead / Manager
Work with Discipline Technical Leads in specific non-technical tasks to facilitate project delivery on an ad-hoc basis where required
Plan and execute assigned personal activities / objectives with direct guidance and supervision in accordance with defined constraints
Adhere to, and comply with, relevant Wood and / or Client processes and procedures in the support and execution of work activities. Support in obtaining feedback for continuous improvement of aforementioned procedures, where applicable
Ensure self-awareness and up to date knowledge of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry developments in relation to Commissioning

Technical Qualification (NVQ / SVQ / C&G) or equivalent
