AUTOMATION ENGINEER – SYDNEY

Senior Automation Engineer, Sydney to design, code, test, commission, install, support, and document innovative $500K to $2m manufacturing automation projects for leading Australian Electrical Design and Automation Engineers.

Ideal Person

You have 5 years + Manufacturing Automation experience, can provide multiple examples of complex Ladder/ SCADA manufacturing automation programs that you have written, tested and commissioned in Australia and had multi IO’S, HMI’s and integrated with the ERP, MES & WMS systems for Tier 1 manufacturing companies.

Responsibilities
PLC and SCADA development and commissioning of automation projects for new or upgrades of production lines and packaging systems for Food & Beverage and FMCG companies.
Provide pre – sales technical and client phone and onsite support and maintenance
Take an effective brief, develop the project specification, and participate in the client presentation
Write and provide solutions that address the scope and meet internal budget and time frames
Conduct root-cause investigations, mine data and provide solutions through code enhancements, process changes, additional data collection and inputs from new sensors equipment/systems
Write easy to understand and accurate User and Maintenance Manuals

5 Years Automation Engineering
PLC / SCADA programming Ladder, Function Block STL
Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi
Comprehensive SCADA / HMI
