YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ABB Drives Estonia is looking for a passionate Automation Integration Engineer to build and maintain the tools, processes, and capabilities to test and verify that our drives portfolio will operate efficiently in the most common automation solutions. In this role, you will be involved in hands-on work in automation solutions and process development. • Gather stakeholder requirements and manage the backlog • Develop and maintain automation solutions and PLC function block libraries for customer integration • Create high-quality, distributable documentation for ABB customers • Maintain automation device description packages • Define and analyze testing needs and processes
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• University degree in Automation, Mechatronics, or Electronics
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial automation ecosystems
• Knowledge of common Ethernet-based fieldbus protocols
• Big-picture perspective with innovative, solution-oriented thinking
• Team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused with strong English communication skills
• Proficient in PC use
