We are currently looking for anAdvanced Hardware Electrical Engineerto join ourCabin Management Systemsengineering team inBrno.

Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex HW and SW applications within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be an active and integral member of a small, dedicated team that cooperates on Cabin Management Systems offer cabin crew and passengers a broad range of cabin entertainment, control and integrated communications to meet the demands of their busy schedules.

You will be involved in various tasks ranging from brand new product portfolios thru verification and validation as well as obsolescence.

Advanced Hardware Electrical Engineer Responsibilities.

• Provide guidance and oversight on hardware development.
• Define hardware requirements, their review, validation and verification
• Cooperate closely with Systems & Software engineering teams
• Drive obsolescence prevention and support obsolescence resolution
• Ensure compliance with applicable processes and participate in defining long term strategies, participate in negotiations with suppliers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years proven working experience designing low-level HW circuitry and HW systems architecture.
• Familiarity with requirements management and project management.
• Advanced English knowledge.
• Organizational, communication, presentation and analytical skills.

• Electronic components market overview, products and component families.
• Knowledge of HW development processes and standards or familiarity with DO-160 and the ability to follow them.
