As an Intern, you will:
• Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from technologists and experienced technical leaders.
• Grow your technical expertise in power plant related engineering.
• Work in a multicultural environment within a multidisciplinary team supporting project execution globally in tight relationship with project management.
• Prepare and review execution plan of gas turbine combined cycle power plant commissioning in areas such as power train (turbomachinery) and power island (auxiliaries).
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:
• You will report and receive direction from the Commissioning team leader
• You will support the Commissioning team in preparing various commissioning tasks of ongoing projects from the set-up, generating related documentation and coordination meetings with involved stakeholders
• You will support with preparing Turn Over Package from Construction to Commissioning Mark-up Drawings of Power Plant Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems
• You will support with preparing Commissioning Permit To Work related documents and familiarized with its process
• To succeed in these tasks, the You will first learn about the combined cycle power plant fundamentals, then dig into the business of power plant commissioning – from the overall process to a certain level of technical details how it is executed
• Internship period: 2025 Feb 3rd ~ 2025 Jun 30th
Required Skills:
• Above junior grade and master student of engineering major
• Good English/Mandarin communication
• Ability to read and understandPiping and Instrumentation Diagram(P&ID), wiring diagram, single line diagram, mechanical drawings, arrangement, and construction drawings, BOM and technical specifications.
• Computer skills in Microsoft office, especially Excel and Power Point, ideally VBA or Macro
• PDF markup and annotation.
• Attend 3 days per week at least throughout internship
