Service Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: #Li-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business in Zagreb. You will be mainly accountable for: • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. • Being the technical and sales support on Motion products for local business unit. • Preparing purchase orders and complex project realization related to dedicated portfolio. • Preparing inquiries for factories based on customer inquiries and public tender specifications. • Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. • Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations and offer solutions to avoid such issues in the future (both in office and on-site). QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You hold a Technical Diploma, major studies would be considered a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of frequency converter and electric motors with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in field service activities.
• You are captivated by proactive skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• You are at ease communicating in Croatian and English.
• You hold current driving license valid in Croatia to be able to travel to domestic and/or international sites.
• You are available to travel mainly to: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania.
