As a Electrical maintenance technician at Honeywell, in Southend, ESSEX, you will be responsible for providing engineering solutions, Working in line with maintenance techniques and maintenance on electrical assets including mould and power presses, pumps, conveyors, and ancillary equipment etc.
This is a position based solely at our Southend plant, covering on a rotational basis a shift pattern of 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm. You will join a multi-skilled team supporting manufacturing at this key site.

Key responsibilities
·Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets including mould and power presses, pumps, conveyors, and ancillary equipment etc.
·Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares aren’t available (retrofitting, reverse engineering or modifying equipment)
·Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices complying with Health and Safety regulations.
·Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection logs
·Supporting and mentoring apprentices.
Key skills and qualifications
·Time Served Apprenticeship in an electrical engineering field.
·Strong experience working with PLC controlled plant and associated equipment.
·Fault finding and repair
·Experience working in a fast-moving production environment.
·This is not an electrical installation role.
