We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join us at Honeywell, in Portsmouth, where you will support,maintain, and improve production equipment to maximise manufacturing availability. Maintain production equipment to ensuremaximumuptime target of >95% availability to manage planned maintenance systems & calibration of production test systems. Promptlyidentifyroot cause of equipment failure and implementsubsequentrepair & ensure sufficient spares are available to provide adequate response timeregardingcomponentfailure.

This role is 100% onsite at our Portsmouth location.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage an existing Planned Maintenance system, perform tasks to predetermined schedule,identifyingpotential operator owned tasks to sustain process uptime &maximisecapacity.

• Toidentifyfaults and complete repairs on production equipment while ensuring allprocess, equipment and ergonomic risk assessments are completed where necessary.

• Ensuringtimelycompletion of HSE actions

• To write technical documents to define procedures, including cell maintenance instructions including defining of TPM schedules.

• To liaise withidentifiedexternal partners/vendorsregardingtechnical aspects of production equipment and spares

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• A broad range of qualifications may be acceptable; however, it is envisaged that there should be a sound engineering background with a demonstrable ability, ideally supported by a recognised Engineering apprenticeship. A HNC in an engineering discipline would beadvantageous.

• Experience in a medium to high volume production environment will berequired. Proven working knowledge of assembly automation including diagnosing pneumatic and PLC systems logic.

• Practical experience with a hands-on and methodical approach to mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis/analysis with the ability to use diagnostic tools/equipment.

• The ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and external suppliers both on technical matters and general levels

• Computer literate – experience with MS Office and AutoCAD
