As a BMS Energy Engineer at Honeywell, covering UK South, you will be responsible for playing a crucial role in enhancing the energy efficiency and performance of buildings through the maintenance and improvement of Building Management Systems (BMS), working closely with building operators and clients to maintain and improve BMS solutions that improve the comfort, safety, and sustainability of buildings. Your expertise in energy management and control systems will contribute to reducing energy consumption, optimizing operational efficiency, and minimizing environmental impact.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Building Management Systems (BMS) to optimize energy efficiency and operational performance as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to BMS functionality and performance
• Conduct energy audits and analyse data to identify energy-saving opportunities and develop strategies for improvement
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on energy management and control systems
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver product demonstrations and presentations and provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales process
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to existing customers

Key skills and qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy management principles ideally with experience in maintaining and improving BMS solutions
• Past experience in energy engineering or related roles
• Proficiency in energy auditing and data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
