TheIEADesignersafelyperformsroutinetodifficultdesignassignments,requiringproficiencyin draftingtechniques,procedures,knowledge of applicable industry/ design codes and standards.

Roles &Responsibilities
• Independentlydevelopscomplete,quality,ontimeandonbudgetdesignpackagescoveringInstrumentation,Electrical,Analyzers, Controls/ Safety Systems Scopes.
• Preparesallrelatedpackagedeliverablesfromscratchormodifiesexistingmaterial-includingengineeringdeliverableslike specification sheets etc. in consultation with the primary engineering resource.
• ProficientdesignskillsusingAutoCAD,RasterDesign,AcrobatDC,SPI.
• Coordinateswithplantresourcesandvendorsasneededtoresearchinformation,obtainquotes,prepareBOMsetc.
• Supportsfieldassignmentsasrequired-includingfieldvalidations(walk-downs),verifyingexistingequipmentfordesignor records verification.
• Qualityassuranceforpersonalworkassignments.
• Checks the work of other designers and drafters asrequired.
• Preparesaccurateman-hourestimatesforworkandforchangesindesign.
• Keepssupervisorinformedofprogress.
• Participatesinclientpresentationsandorothermeetingsasneeded.
• Assuresprojectandcompanyproceduresarefollowed.
• Mustbeabletoperformthefunctionsoflower/higherclassificationsbasedonbusinessneeds.

Inadditiontotheresponsibilitieslistedherein,theemployeemayberequiredtoperformotherad-hoctasksasneededordirected by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee’s skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allowfor flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks willbe assigned considering theemployee’scurrentworkloadandwithrespecttotheirprofessionaldevelopment.

Min.Qualifications
• Highschooleducationor equivalent.
• Extensiveknowledgeofdesign/draftingtechnology.
• Able to work independently with little or nodirection.
• Able to work cooperatively with others in a teamenvironment.
• Minimumof10+yearsoftechnicalworkexperienceorequivalenteducationinanAssociateorBachelor’sdegree

programfortherelevantdiscipline.
