You will be responsible for the technical and application support for the specific product group by ensuring reliable solutions according to customers’ requirements. You will get involved in the concept, sizing/dimensioning and sometimes implementation of the provided solutions based on the Emerson technology. Involved in training our Sales and Service organizations as well as Customer sales support. You will act as a specialist with the highest level of expertise and the trusted technical advisor of the organization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Review, analyze, and offer suitable solutions to the most complex technical challenges; provide recommendations to partners through appropriate channels; Offer applications and support for inside and outside sales, and service engineers
• Manage promptly and professionally all requests reported by customers; Develop and maintain a sound; knowledge of Discrete Automation products, Industry trends and applications
• Interact with design authority/product company for the development of special options and new features for the standard products; Interact with sales to understand post sales customer issues and assist in solving; Interact with the service organization upon request and provides support for post sales requests on trouble shooting
• Offer application/ technical support for sales on site; Identify the process gaps within the product area and works to improve them; Collaborate, communicate, and align activities with business development teams to understand customer needs and requirements; Accumulate and keep up-to-date knowledge base of the business unit and offered products, how they are used, users, product updates and applications
• Involve other departments in providing the best solution for projects; Trusted advisor for various types of high complexity requests with emphasis on technical / application support; Work with production and provides product support for manufacturing engineers and other manufacturing functions according to the process
• Maintain and develop full knowledge of product portfolio; keep update on new products and portfolio evolution: product range evolutions, new products’ introduction, obsolescence, replacement products
• Ensure that any activity, task, and responsibility, as well as all transactions, are managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program and with the Quality and Environmental Management System

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant engineering area
• Highly motivated and very well organized; Details oriented, ability to work under time pressure and multi-tasks, good judgment skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, pro-activeness
• Computer skills and electronic business interfaces: Outlook, Microsoft Office, Teams, E-plan, Creo
• Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Good Customer sense; interest for Commercial role and environment
• Cooperative willingness to interact and work with others; team-player
