As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in responding to and resolving service calls, providing technical support and troubleshooting to Honeywell customers. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and performance of various systems, including HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems, as well as their associated computer systems. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be involved in the technical delivery of small service jobs, time and material work, and preventive maintenance. Your goal will be to ensure system uptime and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements, including testing and calibrating system and peripheral devices as per the preventative maintenance schedule
• Independently program 1 system
• Troubleshoot and fix common issues independently
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator)
• Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations
• Properly use safety personal protection equipment
• Obtain necessary security clearances as required by the customer

YOU MUST HAVE

• 1+ years field installation/service experience
• Completed preventative maintenance on systems internally or externally
• Ability to work independently 75% of the time
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
