As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer instrumentation requirements and working with engineering teams to develop a winning proposal to deliver the project. This role will take full technical responsibility for related activities and deliverables on nominated project while acting as first contact point for all technical activities within the assigned project team and providing strong support to local sales team throughout project Lifecycle (from pursuit to closure).

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Ensure full compliance with all Emerson Trade Compliance and Ethical Business policies and procedures
• Apply PMO project methodology and standards to all projects
• In close partnership with the assigned Project Manager and other project team representatives, serve as the main customer contact for project technical scope to ensure project requirements are understood, taking responsibility for the development and delivery of compliant, high quality engineering solutions to the customer
• Support our ability to deliver FIV (Field Instrument Vendor), MIV (Main Instrument Vendor) and MAC (Main Automation Contractor) type contracts as a single entity
• Take full responsibility for all technical issues on a project maximizing the Emerson scope of work and profit.
• Increase scope and profitability of projects and project schedule control, minimize hidden discounts
• Mentor Project Engineers and guide them on best practices
• Work with all key stakeholders, building business partnerships with personnel in the customer project team
• Attend customer/plant meetings as and when required
• Stimulate the factory change order process to ensure maximum project value is realized
• Ensure project engineering documentation is approved and completed to schedule
• Attend internal project execution meetings to ensure customer requirements are disseminated and clearly understood by all supporting groups
• Create opportunity to increase project scope through best practice
• Ensure relevant project technical knowledge is transferred to all internal partners, locally and globally, to successfully deliver the overall project to the customer
• Support PMO Project Pursuit teams with their activities as required
Who You Are:

You express yourself in a credible and transparent manner.For This Role, You Will Need:
• Relevant university degree
• 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering
• Very good communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
• Digital skills: Microsoft Office package
• People Management experience or proven skills in managing other people
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• Experience in Customer Care Environment
• Proficiency in French
