Job Description

As an O&M Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining critical infrastructure at our Bacton facility. You’ll work within a dynamic team environment, focusing on maximizing production efficiency while adhering to the highest safety standards. This role combines hands-on technical work with problem-solving skills, offering opportunities for multi-skilling and professional development.

Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure safe and efficient operation of installation plant and equipmentMaximize and optimize production opportunities to meet daily targetsPerform preventative and corrective maintenance tasksInvestigate and troubleshoot operational anomaliesConduct front-line problem solving and implement solutionsMonitor and maintain processing and ancillary plant within specified operating parametersDocument and report technical issues and maintenance activitiesCollaborate with team members to ensure optimal plant performanceParticipate in ongoing training and skill development programs 

Qualifications

RequiredNVQ in Processing Operations (Hydrocarbons)Local residence near Bacton Gas Terminal (NR12 0JE)Strong commitment to safety and operational excellenceSpecialized Skills (at least one of the following)Electrical InstallationTIE16 certification for Installing cables in Intrinsically Safe systemsTIE17 (Ex) certification for Installing, Glanding, and Terminating Power CablesElectrical MaintenanceTEM10 certification for Hazardous area inspection of electrical equipmentInstrument MaintenanceTEM10 certification for Hazardous area inspection of electrical equipmentTSBT02 certification for Disassembling and reinstalling SBT assembliesMechanical MaintenanceTMJI10 certification for Dismantling, assembling, and hand torquing flanged jointsLOLER Focal PointTAP01 certification for Planning Rigging Operations
