Job Summary:

As a Steam Power Field Services & Technical Advising Specialist, you will travel to customers sites and support them with installation, maintenance, and warranty work with industrial power generation equipment. This position will require from you technical skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment as you will implement and execute the work under safety and environmental policies, serving as an example for others and providing full commitment in the deployment of the EHS Policies and any additional project-specific written statement or procedure.

Your role:

•Manage,perform,coordinate, and/ormonitor SteamPowersite activities

•Performon-siteinstallationof systems and equipment andongoingpreventivemaintenance, repair andcalibration afterinstallation

• Respondto requests for emergency repairs and servicestotroublesome equipment

•Providetechnicalinstruction and assistancetocustomerrepresentatives regardinginstallation,operation,calibration, repair andmaintenance atcustomer’s sites

•Perform administrative functions such as: writingtechnical reports,orderingmaterials, securingquotations,preparing job status reports, reportstocustomers,time sheet and expense sheetson acompletetimely, andthoroughbasis

• Signsoffon allchangesimplemented

• Knowledgetotroubleshoot andprovide routinemaintenancecheckout for wide rangeof equipmentvintage

•Preparetimely and accuratetechnical reports forcustomer records and a reference for futureoutages

•Ensure allpartsneeded forthe job are shippedtothe site

•Perform aftermarketupgradesthatneedtobeperformed atthe sitelevel

• Supervisecriticaltasks whenthese activities areperformedbythirdparties (asmeasuring,dimensionalchecks,otherconsideredbythemanagement)

Qualificationsrequired:

•Technical/Universitydegreein an Engineering Discipline from an accredited university or college OR (High SchoolDiploma / GED with aminimumof 4yearsof experiencein a Field Services role, OR3+yearsof experiencein a field servicesorpowergeneration equipmentmaintenanceposition)

Solidunderstandingof SteamTurbineOperation andControllingParameters OR Steam Boiler Operational Principals

• Strongtechnicalskillin reading andinterpreting electrical/mechanical flow andinstrumentdiagramsdial andlaser alignment andthermalgrowth equipment

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$83,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
