YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing service tasks, identifying technical problems, and making analysis through remote or onsite activity in any service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, up-grades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.) Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation. Creating and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs. Identifying new sales opportunities and communicates them internally Coordinating, preparing, and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities Preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative and reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed Identifying potential equipment failures and requesting proactive corrective actions. Troubleshooting equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future Identifying suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicating them further in the ABB organization. Providing recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service Ensuring safe working procedures and practices are always followed including the wearing and maintaining of assigned personal protective equipment, attendance at required health, safety and environment training, reporting injury, incidents, hazards, and near miss events
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• Electrical License mandatory for this role with minimum 4 years industry experience preferably with Switchgear
• Understanding and competence in Protection Relays with Primary and Secondary Injection Testing experience
• Computer literate being familiar with Microsoft and Windows
• Ability to amicably negotiate and provide good customer service
• Knowledge of Electrical testing fundamentals is an added advantage
• High level of mechanical aptitude and Interpretation of Electrical drawings skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to think wider to gain improvements
