This role requires a highly capable technician who can independently assess repair needs, make decisions on appropriate repair procedures, and procure necessary parts and supplies. The technician will be responsible for completing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality work, and closing out work orders upon completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Install, program, and maintain building automation systems (BAS) for efficient operation and energy management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BAS issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to assess system needs and provide solutions.
• Interpret technical documentation and system specifications to complete installations and repairs.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems and equipment.
• Independently diagnose, assess, and execute repair procedures for various maintenance tasks.
• Procure parts and supplies needed for repairs and follow through with the entire repair process, including work order closure upon completion

Perform wall repairs, including layout, construction, finishing, painting, and trim work.

• Execute flooring tasks, including complete removal, installation, subfloor correction, and handling irregularities.
• Perform ceiling grid removal and replacement tasks.
• Repair, remove, and replace door systems, including door jams, doors, and all associated hardware.
• Exhibit knowledge of automatic swing doors and sliding doors, including hardware, controller resetting, and mechanical applications.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety guidelines. Qualifications:
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions regarding repair procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with commercial or industrial repair work.
• Experience with installing, programming, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) for efficient operation and energy management.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving BAS issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Certifications in relevant technical areas such as door systems or construction. This role requires a high level of autonomy, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
