Wood is recruiting for a Graduate Project Manager to join our Engineering and Project Management team from Summer 2024 within our Clean Energy Consulting division based in Glasgow.
As a Wood Graduate you will join a culture of innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients.
The Role

As a Graduate Project Manager, you will have exposure to different parts of the Renewables Consultancy business gaining vital skills within project management and will support a portfolio of multi-disciplinary renewable energy projects typically focusing on (but not limited to) onshore wind, storage solutions and solar.

Within our Renewables consultancy business, we service a varied client base worldwide, including World Class private developers (major and independent), investment banks, utilities & power generation companies, pension funds, Technology Innovation and Research Centres – to name but a few. We provide value add services bespoke to the clients’ requirements across; advisory services, technical specialists, project management, owners engineering through all the phases of the project lifecycle. Our specialisms across the renewables sector include; onshore and offshore wind, green hydrogen, solar, grid, storage and infrastructure. The work that we do for our clients is key to making the energy transition possible.

We will then be holding screening calls throughout November / December with those candidates that fit the criteria below
Shortlisted candidates will receive invitations to assessment centres and/or interviews in January
Assessments will take place in February depending on location and discipline
Qualifications

Expected:
A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering Management or similar
Have an eye for detail and proactive
A good communicator who can effectively mange stakeholders
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
The right to work in the UK
Full UK Drivers Licence
Desirable:
Previous experience either voluntary or work placement within a Renewable Energy environment is desirable
