Job Description
**This CO-OP is specific to Purdue University**This role will will assist field engineers and superintendents with daily activities with the purpose of gaining knowledge and exposure to different roles on a projects site. Participate in daily job safety meetingso Assist with development of request formso Update scheduling activities by monitoring and documenting work progresso Organize project documentation o Assist higher level construction engineers/superintendentso Some manual labor included

Basic Job Requirements
• Current student enrolled with Purdue University pursuing a degree in Construction Management
• Completion of 4 semesters
• Completion of the internship program survey through Purdue University
• Ability to meet the schedule requirements of the Internship Program
Other Job Requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Participation in extra curricular campus programs
• Completion of OSHA 10
• Typically has one (1) year of project experience
• Ability to speak/read multiple languages
Salary Range
34,500 to 54,500
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
