YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

For our service organization in Germany, we are looking for a dedicated employee from the engineering field who can adapt to new situations daily and respond to challenges. Are you interested in advancing the field of automation for us and would like to advise and support our customers in project development as a competent partner? Then we look forward to receiving your meaningful application! In the role of Engineering & Service Engineer, you will carry out engineering and commissioning activities for automation projects. You will implement software and hardware planning according to customer specifications. Subsequently, you will commission the planned projects in collaboration with our customers. • System design for control technology scope according to customer requirements for industrial and power plant facilities using ABB automation products • Creation of functional planning based on customer requirements • Conducting technical clarification discussions with our customers • Coordination of engineering and commissioning activities • Execution of commissioning and optimization work according to contractual agreements in the field of control technology functional commissioning, including accompanying acceptance tests and trial operation at the customer’s site • Project-related progress, deadline, and cost control • Conducting project reviews to optimize processes

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering / automation technology or a comparable education/professional experience
• Good knowledge in the area of automation of industrial plants and specifically in the field of power plant control technology would be desirable
• Interest in flexible deployment in the field of engineering and service activities at our customer sites
• Solution-oriented, independent, and structured way of working
• Team and communication skills
• Required language skills (spoken and written): German: fluent, English: good
