Job Description:

This Outside Industrial Sales Leader will grow sales of Baldwin products inindustrial/manufacturingmarkets in the United States. This is a remote position that will require considerable time on the road and occasional visits to the home office in River Falls, WI. The successful candidate will demonstrate a “hunger” for aggressive sales growth, a self-starter mentality, and a “polish” that will help him/her establish new relationships and build trust with new customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate new business by seeking out, identifying, and qualifying new sales leads
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on customers and prospective customers and solicit sales (60%+/- travel requirement)
• Provide technical support to customers; suggest components, assist with applications support and provide information on features and benefits of product lines and systems
• Prepare and update sales forecasts in CRM
• Prepare and submit sales reports / status reports as requested
• Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors’ products, pricing & promotions
• Maintain customer contacts within CRM platform
• Maintain and regularly update opportunities database within CRM platform
• Work with inside sales personnel to prepare, write, and enter quotes and proposals into system
• Work with inside sales and engineering personnel on custom applications. Provide requested information in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; College degree a plus, particularly in a technical discipline
• 5-7 years of outside experience selling capital equipment into manufacturing settings is required; experience selling in UV/LED manufacturing a plus
• UV curing experience/knowledge highly preferred
• Strong sales aptitude and proven track record as an outside industrial sales representative a plus
• Aggressive appetite for sales growth success
• Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experienced with CRM platform
• Experience with long sales cycle
• Ability to work with sales engineers
• Ability to manage current accounts while building new ones
• Existing book of business will prove a huge plus

THE COMPENSATION FOR THIS ROLE WILL CONSIST OF ACOMPETITIVE BASE SALARY WITH A RANGE BETWEEN $100,000 – $130,000 PLUS HIGH EARNING POTENTIAL IN UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS.PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PAY RANGE PROVIDED IS A GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE FOR THE POSITION AT THE TIME OF POSTING. FINAL COMPENSATION MAY VARY BASED ON FACTORS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BACKGROUND, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES AS WELL AS GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF THE POSITION.
