THIS POSITION REPORTS TO
Maintenance Supervisor
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate a high level of mechanical skills and self-motivation. Receive and understand spoken and written technical instructions and respond in English. Read and interpret information from manuals, blueprints, schematics, and other documentation in hard copy or electronic formats as necessary. Function safely in an industrial manufacturing setting, including shift work as required. Overtime is a requirement of the job. Adhere to policies and procedures as an ABB employee including attendance and punctuality to company standards. Perform housekeeping duties as required and other duties as assigned. Train and share knowledge with coworkers.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school degree or military training preferred.
• Experience with PLC’s, machine tool controls, welding and fabrication are a plus.
• Good overall computer skills including MS Office tools are helpful.
