Service Team Leader

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid In this role you will execute service work with ABB Electrification UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) / SAI (Sistema de Alimentación Ininterrumpida) in Madrid. You will be mainly accountable for: • Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance, identifying technical problems and making analysis through different techniques. • Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews. • Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines. • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing specialist support and solutions. • Identifying opportunities for the development of new service applications, equipment, and methods. • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. • Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers. You will join a dynamic and highly specialized team, where you will be able to thrive.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You are highly skilled in maintenance/service departments, working as field technician with UPS or Power electronics.
• Ability to demonstrate your hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of insert specific product and industry/sector.
• Proven decision-making skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
• Degree in Power Electronics / Electricity.
• You are at ease communicating in Spanish.
• You hold valid driving license and VISA/work permit for Spain.
• Domestic and eventually international travels will be required, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites.
• Knowledge of Windows, Office 365 package, Diagnostics soft tools, etc.
