The Senior Manufacturing Leader for the Combustion & Repair COE (Center of Excellence) will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. The Senior Manufacturing Leader will directly manage approximately $500 Million in Cost of Goods Sold, approximately 50 salaried team members and 350 hourly team members.

JOB DESCRIPTION

What You’ll Do:

•Develop COE strategic vision, communicate to team members / stakeholders, and engage teams to optimizeperformance
•Provide leadership across the COE to meet customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, anddelivery
•Partner cross-functionally to align priorities and drive greatest customer outcomes while maximizing business results.
•Analyze production labor requirements, implementing appropriate capacity decisions within COEbudget
•Drive key initiatives including EHS, Six Sigma, shop productivity, lean, and inventory cyclereductions
•Work with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet organizationalrequirements
•Provide leadership development and performance feedback toCOE
•Work cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges, implement large impactful simplification efforts, and drive productcost
•Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout theorganization
•Develop team members by providing growth opportunities, mentoring, and appropriatecoaching
•Provide ongoing feedback to team members, build trusting relationships and be a motivator for positive change andgrowth
•Ensure communication of key business / customer issues to employees
•Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met ontime
•Lead Lean Action Workout Teams to drive a culture of continuousimprovement

What You’ll Bring:

•Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering / Technical Discipline OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years manufacturing experience
• Manufacturing leadership experience
•A minimum 10 years of manufacturing or supply chain related experience
•Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in thefuture
•This position is an on-site role at our GE Gas Power Greenville, SClocation

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $136,000.00 – 229,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 9/30/2024.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
