YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will be responsible to apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reporting unsafe practices and incidents. Maintaining departmental housekeeping standards, contributing to customer satisfaction by executing workshop orders according to workshop processes and guidelines. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Motion Business Area based in Dubai UAE. You will be mainly accountable for: •Acting with sense of urgency and care in the direct area of responsibility •Performing workshop tasks such as Drives troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and testing of ACS880/800/550/580/ ACS800LC, DC drives and all other ABB VFD product family which are arriving to workshop. supporting training centre coordination & training deliveries •Checking bill of materials and other documents to identify required parts needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available for service execution. Material handling, storage of shipments •Handling spare parts and keeping inventory up to date •Ensuring the completion, processing, and maintenance of all required documentation. •Keeping track of drives arriving and leaving the workshop and keeping customer updated with the progress of the service. •Preparation for deliveries with DN/PL, arranging packing and logistics follow up. DSW case data file entry and update with utmost accuracy. E-waste/recycling process handling •Proactively executing work on a first-time right approach and ensuring the job is done on time and on quality. •Identifying improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the way of working, communicating them proactively and driving small improvement actions. •Providing technical support service to end user with regard to the DSW cases in accordance with ABB guideline.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronic with 3 to 8 years’ service experience in LV Drives
• Electrical /Electronic troubleshooting with report making skills, MS office Excel skills.
• Communication & presentation skills
• Product Knowledge on ACS800, ACS880, ACx550, ACx580, ACS800LC, ACS880LC.
• Interest in Workshop repair & services.
• Excellent communication in English mandatory.
