Senior Software Test Engineer

Environment

In a dynamic and innovative context of offer creation and extension, driven by a sustained growth of the Schneider Digital, the Ecostruxure Platform team is developing a comprehensive solution including a central digital platform which is to be used across the whole organization.

In this context, we are looking for a Verification Engineer who has experience with full stack software verification in Azure Cloud environment. You will work in the R&D department of the Line of Business, located in Bangalore, in a cross-functional, multicultural and international environment.The technical team implements the design, development and testing activities at the platform level to meet the marketing roadmaps.

Verification Engineer SKILLS

• Verification Automation Specialist on web-application/microservices testing , with minimum of 5 year experience on web-application/microservices testing2+ years experience in developing automation scripts and automatic testing platformsExcellent debugging and problem solving skillsAbility to learn domain business processes quicklyBias to automate all repeated efforts by developing common utilities and scriptsAbility to adapt and pick up new skills and technologiesExperience in API automation, Git repository, ADOWorking experience in Agile development methodology and Energy Management Domain experience is an added advantage.Soft SkillsShould have creative bend of mind and must be able to showcase the creativity during team discussions.Great interpersonal skills with written and spoken English will be a big plus.Ability to work in team environment with clear focus on delivering solutions to business problemsShould be able to work in a global cross-cultural environment.Ability to work in Agile SCRUM and SAFe Agile environments is a big plus. At least understanding the processes is a need which cannot be ignored.High Commitment to learn in a dynamic environment is a must and cannot be ignored.Presentation and Demonstration skills are a must for working in Agile team environment.Team EnvironmentA successful candidate will be expected to work in a flat organizational structure.Working with fellow front end and back end development team while taking their language is very important for the test automation specialist.In direct day to day working person will be interacting with team architects, technical managers, business leaders, Offer Managers .Qualifications – ExternalEngineering Degree (Masters level preferred) in Computer Science/Electrical or any other engineering stream.Programming/Database/Tools experience in following areas:4-6 Years of Experience in industrial automation systems or software is plus.Strong experience working in JavaExperience working on web application Development product specification and reviewAny certifications like ISTQB , Azure fundamentals will give a clear benefit to the candidate applying for the position.

Qualifications

• QualificationsEngineering Degree (Masters level preferred) in Computer Science/Electrical or any other engineering stream.Programming/Database/Tools experience in following areas:4-6 Years of Experience in Energy Automation systems or software is plus.Strong experience working in any test automation scripting language as programming languageExperience working on verification of web application and microservices in a fast paced AGILE EnvironmentAny certifications on Azure , verification domain.. will give a clear benefit to the candidate applying for the position.
