Engineering Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation business area in Bogotá, Colombia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements. • Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost. • Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned. • Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You are immersed in Control systems for generation systems, preferably hydroelectric. Engineering services for process automation solutions and electrification of industrial processes.
• Ability to demonstrate your verifiable experience developing projects in other countries remotely or on-site. Working on electrical projects with a scope in automation.
• Have 6 years of experience in automation and electrification solutions projects at global level.
• Possess a solid knowledge in communications. 800xA, standard communications IEC61850, IEC104, Modbus TCP, IEC61131 Programming, Electrical Safety.
• You are passionate about Effective communication at all levels, Curiosity, Order, Planning, organization and results orientation.
• You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineer or Electronic Engineer with a master’s degree in electricity.
• You are at intermediate level in English.
• You are available to travel.
