Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Control and Instrument Engineer that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. Responsibilities

Perform control / instrument system and / or field instrument engineering and designing activities required in projects
Be able to recommend and supervise for field instrument and cable installation e.g., material take off list, detail field instrument station support, cable tray and tray support, tubing and fitting design
Be able to recommend and supervise for local control panel, marshaling cabinet and control system cabinet installation, termination and wiring
Be able to recommend and supervise for simple logic control system e.g., relay base logic or small package PLC unit
Be able to select explosive protected equipment as per hazardous area classification
Be able to participate in technical clarification, and technical bid evaluation
Be able to prepare material take off within project timeline
Be able to participate and supervise FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, and the commissioning work of instrument item to comply with the applicable specifications, procedures, codes and standards
Be able to prepare scope of work for construction

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field
Min of 8 years’ experience in oil and gas industry. However, experience in petrochemical industry also can be proposed for consideration
Experience for at least 3 projects in brownfield project and modification work
Expertise in PID control design, loop diagram, instrument control, PLC, DCS, instrument specification
Expertise in engineering design for Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Fire and Gas (F&G) system
Expertise in instrument engineering document and drawing package e.g., conceptual design, detail engineering, instrument index, instrument data sheet, cable schedule, loop diagram, hook up drawing
Additional experience in construction or commissioning is preferable
Hard worker, well organized, proactive, high leadership, teamwork attitude and problem solving in a timely manner
Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can – do attitude and a desire to win
Possess good interpersonal skills with excellent English communication skills
