R&D Team Lead

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute routine tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results.

This role is contributing to the testing in power systems domain
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting in the planning and implementation of test plans.

• Coordinating maintenance activities related to the equipment and tools used in the laboratory.

• Identifying and suggesting solutions related to product non-conformities.

• Assisting external certification inspectors during testing activities for ABB or external customer products.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You are highly skilled in network topologies RSTP, Ring,Star, PRP and HSR
• 5+ years of experience in substation automation protocols like IEC61850 (MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values), Modbus (TCP & Serial), IEC60870 (101, 103, 104) DNP-3 and OPC-UA
• Experience in configuring Gateway / RTU products using IEC61850, Modbus TCP, IEC60870 (101, 103, 104), DNP-3 and OPC-UA protocols
• Experience working with ABB IED’s like 615 series, 620 series, 605 series, RIO600, REX640, REX610, SMU615 and SSC600 device
• Experience working with PCM600 used for configuring ABB Relion series IED’s.Exposure to different cybersecurity standards and prepare test setup and testing against
• cybersecurity standard like IEC IEC62443 4-2 and 3-3.
• Experience working with WSUS, Microsoft windows defender, SNMP, syslog, SIEM, CAM, CA, security update server for IPS/IDS and RDP server.
• Bachelor or Master of Engineering / Bachelor or Master of Technology in Electrical or Electronics and Communication / Electronics and Instrumentation.
• Experience working with firewall router & IPS/IDS device in defining rules at layer level also in test management tools like Azure DevOp and Test Rail.
