Production Engineering Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Production Development Engineer, the main responsibility is to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment to minimize labor hours, in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety. Your responsibilities • Perform design tasks, present solutions in design review and introduce the new design to the factory. • Be responsible for new and changed solutions for the factory and be a “champion” for implementation of new or revised solutions in the factory. • Be responsible for and follow up trial assemblies for own designs. • Be responsible for performing reviews from EBOM to MBOM and implement in Windchill. • Contribute with technical and manufacturing advice in industrialization projects. • Follow the project development from release, until implemented in the factory • Contribute to maintaining and developing the mechanical- and low voltage solutions in our product portfolio • Participate in the department’s continuous improvement work and operating system

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineering or similar.
• Experience from SolidWorks, SAP and Windchill will be an advantage.
• Commitment to quality and speed and interested in continuous improvement for the pro-duction processes.
• Strong language skills within English and Norwegian.
• Coordination- and leadership skills.
