This position is for a professional BMS Engineer of Digital Energy BMS systems in large and complex Projects such as Life Sciences and Data Centers.

This is a customer facing position, with a working on customer site during all commissioning phases, leading a group of engineers – Travel 70% of time away from home location.

Job Description:

AsPrincipal Project Application EngineerYou will maintain, install, configure, and commission our full suite of products primarily our EcoStruxure solutions for BMS.

Provide design technical documents (System architecture, Panel drawings, BOQ, …) and technical assistance and leadership to our team.

Working at multiple client sites (Data Centers, Digital Buildings, …), you will become part of a team that provides outstanding service and support to our clients.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Design project technical documentation (System I/O list, BOM, Panel drawings, system architecture, …etc.)
• Lead High- Performance Teams Inspire, mobilize and energize. Build PASSION and ENGAGEMENT towards a common goal. Give the example and be a role model. • Schedule / Forecast & Resource Management Ability to manage planning and scheduling of technicians & engineers according to skills in order to respect customer requests and Schneider Electric interest to optimize utilization rate.
• Commissioning of BMS including but not limited to HVAC, chiller plants, building automation systems, etc.
• Programming of BMS systems
• Design and implement HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens and visualizations to provide real-time data and control capabilities for operators.
• Handles overall technical responsibilities for one or more projects, including project specification, functionality, testing and commissioning
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BMS and data centers industries.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Typically requires professional experience working with development of BMS, ENMS, EMPS
• Knowledge of industrial protocols and communication standards (OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Team player with good leadership and communication skills and able to travel when required.
• Very detail-oriented, and capable of leading teams during projects commissioning or troubleshooting situations.
• Experience with HMI design and visualization tools.
• Professional user of Microsoft Office
• Understanding of BMS and datacenters technologies.
• Excellent command of English
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
