Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for Principal Engineer Control & Instrumentation, Experience in Design and Detail Engineering including preparation of Instrument Index, Data Sheet, Specification for Field Instruments and Control systems, SAMA/Logic diagrams, Sizing of Flow Element Valves, Construction drawings and knowledge in DCS/PLC systems
Responsibilities
Graduates in Instrumentation/Electronics with 13 – 18 years of experience
Experience in Design and Detail Engineering including preparation , Checking and review of Instrument Index, Data Sheet, Specification for Field Instruments and Control systems, SAMA/Logic diagrams, Sizing of Flow Element Valves, Construction drawings and knowledge in DCS/PLC systems
Experience in following areas – Valves & flow elements sizing calculations
Field instrumentation selection
Preparation / checking of inst. index , I/O list, datasheets, MRs, TBE, VDR/VDI
Pre-order and post-order activities
Handling package interface, inter-discipline co-ordination
Participation in HAZOP / SIL activities
Generation and checking of process and F&G C&E matrix.
Exposure to DCS / ESD / PLC / F&G
Interaction with client / licensor / PMC / vendor
Conversant with international engineering standards
Conversant with QA / QC procedures
Capable of supervising & guiding all design activities
Experience in INtools & 3-D modelling
FEED / EPC experience
Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petro-chemical experience
Qualifications
Graduates in Instrumentation/Electronics with 13 – 18 years of experience
Software Proficiency : SPI, Conval, Vendor sizing software
