Lead IT/OT Specialist

OVERVIEW

This is a unique position for the consulting side of our company which will allow you to work in all vertical markets across RoviSys including Pharmaceutical, Glass, Food and Beverage, and many more. As a Lead IT/OT specialist, you will be expected to serve as the primary engineer for projects and mentor younger team members in the technologies/methodologies we use.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working directly with RoviSys customers to conduct assessments and create, implement, and support designs for their manufacturing IT infrastructure.
• Use a wide range of vendors and technologies to meet customers’ goals, some of which include Cisco Catalyst, VMWare, Dell, and Palo Alto.
• Assess, design, configure, and commission network and computer systems for the manufacturing environment.
• Lead a team of engineers and teach the skills necessary to work on these manufacturing systems
• Interface with clients for design meetings and conference calls
• Travel to customer sites to assess, troubleshoot, and upgrade manufacturing infrastructure

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 – 8 years of industry experience
• B.S. in a technology-related field
• Proficient in setup, configuration, or design of at least one of the following platforms:Cisco Catalyst/ ASAPalo AltoFortinetVMWare ESXiStratus ServerWindows Server
• Certifications in any of these technologies are a plus
• Experience with networking and virtualization in an industrial manufacturing setting is a plus
• Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, enjoy teaching, and working with others
