THIS POSITION REPORTS TO

Service Team Leader

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is #onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification – Services business in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Providing on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories. • Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines. • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support and solutions. • Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• A minimum degree in Electrical Engineering.
• More than 2 years of experience in Low Voltage and Medium Voltage switchgear, protection relay, working as service engineer/project engineer with switchgear technologies.
• Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of insert specific product and industry/sector.
• Ability to travel to domestic and international sites.
• Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
