Job Summary:

The FAT ENGINEER has the overall responsibility to meet design specifications and requirements in good quality before it is shipped and obtains customer approval.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

1. Draw up and get approval for Inspection and Test Plan (ITP):

• Develop a detailed ITP that outlines the inspection and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with the shipyard and ship-owner to ensure the ITP aligns with their requirements.
• Seek approval from both the shipyard and ship-owner for the ITP.

2. Planning & Adjustment of Inspection Schedule:

• Create an initial inspection schedule based on the production plan.
• Be prepared to adjust the schedule to accommodate changes in customer and production requirements.

3. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT):

• Develop a comprehensive plan for the FAT based on the production plan.
• Ensure all relevant documents, test reports, and certificates are in order.
• Submit the FAT application to the shipyard and classification society through their recommended channels.
• Coordinate the FAT schedule according to customer requests.
• Execute the FAT according to the approved ITP and procedures.
• Hold a post-FAT meeting with the customer to discuss any comments or issues.
• Communicate any requirements or comments to the relevant teams for resolution.
• Notify the customer when requirements and comments are addressed after internal self-inspection.

4. Manage and Maintain FAT Records and Certifications:

• Keep records of the inspection reports for the FAT conducted with the customer.
• Maintain certificates for systems on a project-by-project basis.
• Ensure all necessary certificates for inspections are up to date.
• Conduct a final self-inspection to verify compliance with quality standards.

• Good communication skills in both Korean and English.
• Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Responsible, honest, loyal, and hardworking, teamwork spirit.
• Technical understanding of Valve Remote Control and Level Gauging systems
• The ability to write and accurately record information
• Safety Regulation Compliance Awareness
• Quality management skills for products
• The ability to understand and adhere to inspection and testing procedures.
