Responsibilities
Reporting to the Functional Manager within EIC division, you will join an Australia wide team that is based in Perth & Brisbane. Our teams work collaboratively across a diverse range of engineering packages from conceptual studies through to EPCM delivery for local & international developments.
Due to recent success we are commencing early works with a large scale Greenfields battery metal facility based in Europe. This project will be the largest and most sustainable of its kind, leading the way for the development of an integrated battery value chain in Europe, establishing leading technology in their processing methodology for sustainable and efficient production.
This role will see you join a project team for one of Europe largest and most sustainable Greenfields battery metal processing facilities, early works are commencing now as we head into EPCM in September 2024. This project has been identified as a significant steppingstone for Europe’s establishment of intergraded value chain the batter metal production space. A complex and technically advanced processing methodology this project will provide opportunity to broaden both your skills technically and professionally as you engage with varied international parties.
You will be involved in the E&I design for this new project and support Instrumentation and Electrical Engineers with development of wiring and installation drawings for electrical equipment and work with other disciplines, in a team environment to create multi-discipline design packages.
Your key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to: –
Ensure that design activities are performed within allocated project budgets and time constraints to ensure tasks are delivered on time and in a cost-effective manner
Maintain and apply a working knowledge of design standards and codes
Ensure that all design deliverables have been prepared, checked and approved in accordance with the Company Quality Assurance system and drafting procedures
Work in conjunction with other Discipline Designers, Engineers and supervisors to support engineering project delivery
Readily take ownership of discipline design commitments and requirements on the project

Qualifications
About You
This opportunity is looking for those who are interested in building their engineering careers in resources sector, ready to take on their next challenge working with global leading large-scale projects & build tenure in being part of our global industry most significant new developments in the critical minerals sector, adding international projects to your career portfolio and success.
You will also have:
Prior experience in Electrical design within mineral processing facilities
Strong knowledge in applying relevant Electrical / Instrumentation industry design practices and key national and international standards and codes.
Good written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate discipline requirements to other members of the project team
Ability to deliver best practice design and drafting, with emphasis on cost-effective design –
Competency in Microstation V8, AutoCAD /SPI/SPEL experience
Knowledge of and exposure to key Clients in Mining & Minerals
