Job Description

Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover Southeast Queensland across multiple locations, assisting Seqwater to provide water for more than 3 million people. 
We are currently seeking highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians with oil and gas, water, or heavy machinery experience to work in various regions in Queensland – from Gold Coast to Beaudesert areas in the South Region, to Mount Crosby area in the Central Region and Joyner area in the North Region.
This is as short-term contract for immediate start and runs through to October 2024, focused on the delivery of electrical and maintenance services. This is not a Fly-in, Fly-out shift work. 
Applicants with work rights to work in Australia will be considered.

Responsibilities

Successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following current qualifications and tickets, including dual trade of Electrical and Instrumentation:Effective fault finding and problem-solving skills,Ability to read and mark up drawings,Required to work unsupervised with great communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

Valid Qld Electrical Licence,Certificate III: Instrumentation and Control,Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems not essential but preferred,Working Safely at Heights – current within last 3 years,Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue,Construction Card.In addition, successful candidates will be expected to complete a Wood medical and provide copy of their passport or birth certificate.Wood encourages Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.If available and interested – please apply ASAP.
