THIS POSITION REPORTS TO

Operations Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division in Merida, México. Main stakeholders are in North America. You will be mainly accountable for: • Design and specification of automation systems. • Create functional description and program SW applications and graphic displays (HMI). • Perform acceptance tests FATs (Factory Acceptance Test) and commissioning on customer site. • Active work within the entire project team. • Produce technical documentation in accordance with ABB’s and end-customers’ requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• You have experience with automation products (PLC, Control Systems, SCADA systems, etc.)
• You are at ease communicating in English in a fluent proficiency.
• You have flexibility to travel abroad on business trips.
• You have the ability to demonstrate basic electrical knowledge.
• You hold a valid US visa is helpful.
• You have a global mindset with a passion to work in diverse cultures.
• You have the ability to work independently, and you are a team player who is flexible and open to new ideas.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation and Control Engineering or related.
