Aerothermal Project Engineer

We are an opportunity for an Aerothermal Project Engineer to join us at Honeywell Aerospace within Advanced Tech team based in Yeovil. In this role you will play a crucial role in the early stages of technology development. Your primary focus will be on managing our external V&V process and on managing our relationships with key collaboration partners such as technology developers and test houses/laboratories.

Key responsibilities

·Manage our relationship with key V&V suppliers, ensuring that they deliver test results at an acceptable price, quality, schedule.

·Manage relationships with key collaboration partners, maintaining their drumbeat of delivery to our projects.

·Own and maintain the risks associated with these key project and delivery partners.

·Present progress to stakeholders at various positions within the organisation and provide a two-way conduit for communication between stakeholders within the project and external parties.

Key skills and qualifications

·Experience of running Verification & Validation projects

·Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and presenting your concepts to different stakeholders

·Good ability to be able to influence

·Highly advantageous in the understanding thermofluids and/or aircraft thermodynamics
