Join our team of innovators as we design, develop and deploy cutting-edge software solutions forHoneywell Anthem Next -Generation Avionics Display Systems.You will be a key member of our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced software solutions for cutting-edge avionics technology that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots.


In this role, you will impact the aviation industry by developing innovative software solutions that improve the functionality, reliability, and user experience of avionics systems.

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules.
• Leverage your expertise in software engineering to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions
• Design, develop, and test software applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system performance and reliability

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization



• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development of embedded systems, avionics or related products


• Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python and/or Open GL.
• Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System
• Experience in software development for embedded systems, display technologies, automotive or aerospace applications
• Experience with Avionics products desirable i.e. Avionics Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
• Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
• Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
