As anAdvanced Project Engineerhere at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play an integral role in managing and executing engineering projects to deliver innovative solutions to our customers, for the Military Fixed Wing (MFW) team which supports F124 and F125 turbofan engines. In this role, you will be accountable for guiding cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, coordinating project activities, and ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading and managing cross-functional teams to successfully execute engineering projects
• Developing and implementing project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets (EVMS management)
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Owning and supporting Export Licenses, TAA’s, STA’s and other related agreements for the execution of multiple engineering work streams
• Serve as a focal for Export Compliance workstreams for the group

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project engineering, project management or related role
• Strong project management skills

WE VALUE

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is of value, but not required
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
