We are looking for an expertAccount Managerwith sales experience in theLife Sciences industry. Join our team in Ireland for a chance to create positive impact in business development!

The role will have a strong focus on furtherdeveloping new business and growing of Key Accountsby optimally positioning our instrumentation offering. There will also be a strategic focus in maintaining account relationships with partners in existing customers.
In this role your, responsibilities will be:

• Identify new and effectively engage with existing customers and opportunities by promoting outstanding product features and deploying the best sales practices.
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business, their needs and language while actively applying suitable products and solutions to address these goals.
• Effectively build account relationships to become the trusted advisor within selected accounts and become their trusted advisor for instrumentation.
• Increase the Measurement Solutions market share by a targeted competitor displacement across the portfolio and strategically position the Emerson portfolio to be considered on larger projects.
• Liaise with internal and external sales teams in product and application knowledge sharing, planning and execution activities to continuously improve the customer service levels.
• Develop strategic account plans for assigned accounts to dive customer loyalty and engagement.
• Practice a ‘Think Customer’ attitude and culture in all aspects of the role.
• Provide regular forecasts and lead account expectations updating the ongoing business planning tools including CRM, POR, Quarterly, Mid-Year and Yearly Budget Reviews.
• Work closely with the business unit sales and marketing teams to better understand how to position Measurement Solutions portfolio effectively in the marketplace.

For this role, you will need:

• An Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Extensive experience of within the Process Automation & Life Science industry is a must!
• Proven track record of direct selling in a B2B environment.
• Experience in developing long term relationships with external customers.
• A consultative approach to selling.
• Amazing interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

• Proficiency in any other European languages (Italian, French, Spanish).
• Ability to develop successful cross functional relationships internally, within a matrix organisation.
