Whereis the Position?

The position is located in Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia within dynamic & challenging environment with international members from diverse cultures.

Which missionswill you lead?

During the tender stage:

• Support the Global Tender Manager in the preparation of the offers to VIP customers part of the Cloud & Service Provider segment market.
• Under the guidance of the global tender manager, ensure the offers meet project key success criteria, submission deadlines and Schneider Electric solution business policy.
• Execute the tender strategy defined by the global tender manager, global technical leader and the account team.
• Collaborate with all necessary functions internally (including IntraGroup quotation teams, Outside Group procurement teams, Technical teams, logistics, Finance, contract mgt, tax, and project execution) to build the costing of the overall solution.
• With the support of the global tender manager, drive cost & delivery optimizations
• With the support of the team engaged during the offer preparation, assess the risks that the project execution team will have to manage and put in place mitigation measures validated with the Solution risk manager.
• Ensure lessons learned gathered from previous tender/project are implemented8. Support the internal tender review and internal approval process before submitting the offer to customer.
After submission of the offer:

• Support the account team & the Global Tender Manager with the revision the offer based on negotiation & clarification meetings with the customer
• Ensure the revised offer remains under the pre-approved mandate. If not, assess gaps and inform the global tender manager
• Support the transfer to execution.

What are the qualificationswe are looking for?

Education:

Engineering degree, preferred in electrical/energy field

Work experience:

Internship or similar in electrical distribution, costing experience in a project environment

• Aptitude to withstand time pressure and stress while keeping high performance level
• Ability to communicate clearly and convince others
• Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently
