Remote with regular site visits to R&D Labs & test houses

 

Duration: 6 months potentially extending

 

Rate: TBC

CONTRACT EMC Test Engineer based from home wanted to support the development of a first of it’s kind ground-breaking motor technology which significantly reduces carbon emissions through energy re-capture.

 

Your objectives:

 

·       Support the R&D team to establish EMC testing procedures advising on best practice.

·       Establish working standards for Thermal management and EMC

·       Set up and conducting all EMC tests in the lab and also utilising test houses

·       Ensure test specifications are followed correctly

·       Devise and carry out non-standard tests to meet special requirements

·       Provide accurate reporting and continuous feedback to the R&D team

·       Recommend fixes and further mitigation of faults found
